HISTORY OF THE TRITONS
The Founders of the Monterey Bay Tritons
Dave Deman - Robert Watson - Bryan Mabrey - Travis Jones -
Tino Bernazzani - Bob Pennal
The year was 2006, and a group of local divers had a vision of putting together a dive club in the Monterey area. Each of the founders were active spearfishermen, competing in local, state and national tournaments yearly. Their collective vision was to provide a resource for divers to connect and enjoy what the California Coast had to offer. In 2007, the club was officially formed.
